My week with great exfoliation

I have never seen Jeff with a beard, so I asked him to grow it out for me before he has to be clean shaven for the military. This was after a week. He couldn't last any longer...here he is right before he shaved it off. I am going to miss my amazingly exfoliated face. It was a ton of fun while it lasted!

SUMMERFEST

Summerfest was always my favorite time as a kid growing up in Orem. I loved the corn dogs, parade, cotton candy, and fireworks. In high school, I mostly loved the fireworks and always wanted to snuggle with a cute boy...life long dream, really. Well, for the first time in history, I had two cute boys to snuggle with at Summerfest. We made it just in time for the parade for me to remember all the times I ran those parade routes with all the cheer girls...it was like doing a marathon...and all the times I rode with the Bryson Family for elections. Such great memories. Blake was in the parade this year with the football team. (Yep, Blake is in High School playing football...crazy!) Next we walked the sludge filled carnival area looking for food. It had rained pretty hard earlier and all the grass had turned to mud. As we were searching for food Jeff noticed the dark clouds rolling in. Rain! We made an executive decision to head back to the car. (I had just straightened my hair and was not about to ruin it!) On the way back we picked up the beloved fair corn dog and cotton candy. So good! Nothing like hot fat and sugar! Just as we made it to our car it started raining. So, I missed out on snuggling during the fireworks, but saved the hair...We had such a good time!

Little Angel Baby

Daniel fell asleep the other day in our bed while we were playing. Too cute! I couldn't miss the picture.

The Farm

Jeff and I have been working on my Grandpa's farm lately. It has been some pretty good labor, but there was no hesitation to work this last time as Jeff found out that he would be mowing the lawns...on a riding lawn mower. Who wouldn't want to do this? So much fun. The only drawback was that Jeff had birds "dive-bombing" him the whole time. I had to get a picture of my farming man!

Lazy Sunday

Last Sunday I found Jeff and Danny reading the Book of Mormon. Daniel sure loves his dad. He sat there completely content as Jeff read with him. It was too cute. Jeff is such a good dad!

Independent man

Daniel has been quite independent with the pacifier since day 1. He loves it so much! Sometimes he would spit it out just close enough so that he could put it right back in with a small tilt of the head. Hilarious. Now he just holds it in with his fist. No way he is going to lose it! Love my independent man!
